Branford Marsalis played a charity benefit concert for the musicians of new orleans. it was hosted by the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons, at the Westin Rio Mar, Puerto Rico.

It's all work this week. Our hours are running 6a till 8-9pm. I really intended to post some stuff earlier, but it's been hectic. mike had a Base fall on his foot and lost his Big Toe Nail, so we've been a man down. (the doctor numbed it and pulled it off from the little thread still hanging on.) i have to run now but wanted to put up some artwork....

SUNDAY in San Juan 1.7.7

Yesterday we arrived on 3 kings day. it's a national holiday in Puerto Rico. so, it's sunday with everyone off work plus all the stores are closed for holiday. live music and crowds celebrating. madness in Old San Juan.... traffic was a snarl and i think some people had been drinking! (duhhhhhhhh) We walked a few hours from the area of our hotel off into Old San Juan for a wonderful dinner and a nice visit of the old city. All the locals were fun and friendly. We ate in a Cuban restaurant and learned how to make Mohito's. Today was a client meeting day. we met outside on the pool deck. it's all work.

We are working in Puerto Rico till January 17th. today upon arrival we met Ving Rhames, the actor. Here he is with Laura and Alice.
