'FIESTAS POPULARES EN EL ESTADO DE JALISCO'
I took a bus over to San Antonio Tlayacapan, a small town just east of Ajijic for a Catholic Fiesta. Hang on, here we go!
I was told they were having fireworks at the Fiesta, so I was excited to see them. I watched for hours while some guys hand made everything. They built the parts, crafted the tower, then stood it up.
But the fireworks didn't get lit till 10pm.
Before that there was a massive parade and then a Mass at the church.
There was a MASSIVE police presence around town.
There was also a lot of local drinking!
Then it finally got dark and it was firework time.
These people really know how to party!
Viva Mexico.
