s/v Prodigal DECK Paint work

There is a lot of preparation for the deck before they can paint.
All the cracks must be sanded and then refilled.  The old non-skid surface had to be smoothed off.  (the old non-skid was textured like elephant skin.  Lots of folds and grooves on every flat surface.  to 'fix this' we are using an Awlgrip leveller product.  Fill up the grooves then sand it smooth.  after it's smooth you can put down a primer on the entire deck.  Then tape off the areas for shiny paint and areas for non-skid paint.
The old Elephant Skin surface.

After the surface dries you sand it smooth.
