engine purrs. She's a kitten. - skip williams
TYPED FROM NASSAU: We got up at 6am Saturday, Bimini, and replaced the Lift Pump on the Perkins. (plus tightened everything and found a bad hose clamp on a fuel line.) After all the work; She appeared to be running fine so we departed to Nassau. About midnight we anchored for a few hours on the Bahama Bank in 15' of water, then started on again. At Nassau we tried to run to shore and clear through customs. Except our outboard was not as expected. (INSERT CALMING VOICE) Somehow the two bolts that hold the bottom of the outboard drive system on - were OFF. (I cried a little)

not supposed to be a gap here.
the RBDF and I headed to Customs. Since our outboard died, these guys gave me a lift.
Mr Charley anchored on the boat next to us in the harbor gave me a ride back to the boat.
See, it takes a village to raise the village idiot.
What the heck happened to your leg THIS time (ask Cousin Rick if you can't remember)?
Xo, Lynn (the question sister)
I bumped my shin a little when stepping onto the Defense Force boat. Perhaps my 'trail leg' is dangling too much when i leap? I used to high jump and recall that if your leg drags it knocks off the bar. The good news is, with my old scar along side this tiny knick, nobody will notice this one!
i felt a lot better after some dinner and a shower!
