The people are so beautful, warm and kind. everyone has been open and friendly. (mysteriously some dont want their pictures taken... so, you wont see those people. some others aren´t exactly asked so they are implicitly granting their permission.)
around the church you can find some people asking for a helping hand. i dont think they have welfare or social security here.
the burros - donkeys with wood walked up the street just outside my hotel door yesterday about 5pm. i was just stepping into the doorway when they turned the corner and i caught this shot. then the little girl wagon train driver insisted i owed her money for the photo writes to her ass... OK. no problem-o. i´ll pay my way.
a shot of the famous Aztec soup. its to die for. that´s a jalapeno on top for some flavor, or you can remove it to your own taste. (i took a bite of it and it´s pretty spicey)
Merry Xmas to all. i´ll try to write more later. got a very VERY late start today. Ruth invited me to attend her Tango lessons this morning at 11:30, so i ´worked´on the computer till then. now i´m meeting up with Alex and Janet who i met at breakfast. they are here from new zealand looking to buy a place. i invited myself house shopping with them in hopes of getting inside some of these old walls and seeing what a $million US will buy these days. he´s a banker and she´s a mom.
Happy Holiday. xo skip
