Today I am flying to Tampa to see the sailboat I have a contract on. Monday I meet the boat surveyor who will test all the systems to confirm that it’s ‘ship shape.’ We will sail it to the Bradenton Marina to have it hauled out of the water. (to see the hull and make sure there is nothing wrong on that) If all goes well I’ll be a new boat owner October 6th. Fingers crossed everyone.

I have been waiting patiently for something new to report. Last week I worked in San Francisco on the CalDental show. Afterward I drove up to Napa Valley for some wine tasting and a great visit with Greg and Susan in Yountville. The weather was perfect all week and everything cooperated to make for some lovely photos of the Vineyards at harvest time.
