Also, I check out of my hotel and drive to Arenal for a glimpse of the volcano. (some others here at my lodging say they have been there 4 times and never seen the volcano because of clouds…. Wish me luck. it might take 5 hours to drive the short distance. traffic, mountains, bad roads and possible rain all against me. also, i dont know how the internet will be in the little village. this speedy 150kps has not been great. the first day took over an hour just to set up my blog on this one machine. (i may not be able to post photos from there?) yesterday it took over an hour to send all the photos because the 'speed' was so slow. we shall see.
