(broken off running lights pictured.) I got one back on before running to play.
Joe age 89 and Evelyn age 78 are an 'item' plus pretty darn good players.
softball
During warm ups i took a bouncing grounder on the end of my second finger and got pretty bloody. Then in my best Fred Astaire moves i slipped, fell, spun getting up, dropped the ball and fell again in the second inning of the seven inning game. I jammed my knuckle on the same finger, left hand. My game didnt really suffer too much. My throwing - left handed - took a huge nosedive and now post game my hand is swelling up a little and hurting a lot. Maybe i should 'ease' into senior league softball? Or i could stop falling down? Darn the luck! (do you recall Johnny Depp playing softball in any of the Pirates movies? maybe Pirates dont play softball? maybe i shouldn't?)
i have an ice-pack on my hand now and have decided that the only other thing i might need is a happy hour at the Hurricane and some of those 35 cent wings. That will surely make the hand hurt less! I hope you are enjoying a sunny 72 degree day and have some wings on order. xo skip
