My high school football coach, Bill Barden,
was inducted into the
Arkansas High School Coaches Association 2018 Hall of Fame.
Coach Barden had the largest contingent of followers and loudest cheering section last night for the ceremony. A delicious chicken fried chicken with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans was served after the salad course to about 500 attendees at the banquet last night. Then the 14 recipients of awards were presented in a short 2 minute video with cute stories of their long and stellar careers.
After the presentations we got a large following on stage for a group photo with Coach. Thanks for all your life lessons Coach Barden. You were a leader, a mentor, and a role model for all of us.
