The plan, spend August in Colorado Springs, Co. I rented an apartment for the month.
Amarillo by morning.... Up from Kemah TX.
My sister Lynn and her family live in Amarillo, so i stopped for the night and a visit.

So I drove up to Colorado arriving on August 4th.
On the 5th I visited Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
