Thanksgiving 2015

What are you thankful for?  

We are all so very blessed, 

it's tough to pick a favourite. 

Are you thankful for the first turkey on the rotisserie grill?

Are you thankful for the second turkey in the smoker?

Are you thankful that friends add a chair to their table and invite you over?

Are you thankful for your Thanksgiving Dinner?

Are you thankful because you have apple pie?  (or pecan, or pumpkin?)

Are you thankful for another slice?

 I met my dear friends Mel and Mary in Denver at Convention.
I'm thankful for my family and my friends.  All my friends.

I'm especially thankful that i have friends from my youth - 50 plus years.

I'm thankful they put up with me!

"Old friends."

Kemah is a quiet little village on the gulf.
Here is an old one room schoolhouse that sits on the corner a block away.
I'm thankful for where i live.  
Not just on a boat, but on a boat in a great location.
Dock Rats enjoy good food and drink and we have a lot of that.

It's a lovely place to live, but i think it's time to start planning to move on.  To sail away.  
I'm very Thankful that i am healthy and wealthy and capable of having choices.

I'm thankful it's pretty enough to sail, or golf at Thanksgiving!
