sometimes i 'feel' like i don't quite fit in?
4.22 Luperon, D.R. the weather is still against us.
well YESTERDAY out on a photo shoot - my camera died. (or better yet, it went into some form of cardiac arrest) it clicks and the shutter flops about like it's hyperventilating... i can turn it on and off and it sometimes will stop flopping about. but it wont take photos.
i am heart broken.
Angela has been letting me use hers at times to keep from going into withdrawals. so upon my return i will have to repair my camera. it didn't suffer any "damage" here, it just sort of freaked out.
TODAY - we rode vans in a group of 14 sail boaters over from Luperon to Puerto Plata, had a killer lunch and did some shopping at a massive grocery store to replenish our ships stores. in addition to shopping, we toured an old spanish fort and behaved like tourists. now it's 8:30pm and we're watching Pirates of the Caribbean. (i wonder how it will turn out this time?)
In addition; about 10,000 years ago today, my father - Bill Williams was born. Happy Birthday dad. be safe wherever your ship is anchored. also, remember you are forbidden from climbing ladders. after the age of the dinosaur it's not allowed!
