BVI. thur.5.30 - Saba Rock to Sydney's Peace and Love

The Weather has been fantastic.  It's 'almost' hot, with plenty of breeze to keep us cool.  (if we stay in the shade)   i managed to get up early enough yesterday to snag a sunrise photo.  then off we sailed across to Sydney's Peace and Love for Lobster Dinner.  can it get better than this?

VIRGIN GORDA - The Baths

The BVI's. on a Catamaran this week.

I am sailing this week on a rented Catamaran, Indigo in the BVI's.  We have been to;  Norman Island for a visit to the Willy T.  (a dive bar)  Next night we went to Cooper Island and did some fun snorkeling.  Today we went to Virgin Gorda and hiked through the Baths.  Tonight we are anchored at Saba Rock.  Tomorrow we will sail 22 miles to Jost Van Dyke.  we will snorkel again and go out to dinner at Foxy's Taboo.  We will also visit the natural Jacuzzi whirlpool bath.   We are having some great weather, nice sailing winds and lots of fun! -Skip

OK, per usual I am behind in my writing.

Since last i wrote i have attended my dad's 85th birthday. (he ate more cherry pie than mom. barely) i did a show in Orlando, then visited Seattle for a site visit. i worked in Chicago - darn it was cold! i had some boat work done. We had the 2nd Annual Cox Lake Mens Retreat @ Possum Kindom. Last weekend i attended the Houston Art Car Parade. Now i need to catch up.

Spring 2013. where did it go?

Today i'm flying back to Seattle to work the show, the one from the site visit. This is not unusual. Today at the IAH airport i had an unusual event. i arrived early and checked in at the American desk for my tickets. i asked for and received exit row seating. (again not unusual, i have status and arrived 2hrs early) It wasn't till i had already gone through security and was sipping my coffee and checking my boarding time that i noticed something slightly strange. The boarding time shown was 2 hours earlier in the day. (i was eating a breakfast taco at 10am and the boarding time shown was 7:35A for an 8A departure) it was the same departure and same arrival city, just the wrong flight. THEN i noticed the name on the ticket: Stephanie Wang. So here i am holding a ticket for a flight that's already in the air, in the wrong name... I went to the closest American gate and they pulled it all up on their computer and gave me a new - correct ticket. (they also made some "OOH and AHHH" comments about how could i have gotten this far with that ticket... (similar thoughts to my own)

I need to run now and catch my flight. i'll write more later and insert words and photos of all the Catch-Up stories.

New Arch Installed; solar / wind

 





I recently had a custom arch built and installed.  There are three 45kw solar panels and an Air Breeze wind generator on it to power my new 12 volt Refrigerator and Freezer components.
