Drag Races on CLS

OK.  this post is a little 'freaky.'  The Clear Lake Shores community is a small island near me.  it's where i ride my bicycle.

The CLS has a tradition of having a 'Drag Race' on Memorial Day.  *Men dress in drag and the locals judge the competition.  i was invited to attend, not to compete.  It was very festive and somewhat disturbing.

"Drink up, and play the music real loud....  Strut your stuff boys!"

s/v Prodigal hits the water - Finally!

We are launching my yacht in the morning.  This painting job has taken since January 16th.  It's May 22nd when we launch.  You do the math, i cant.  I also cant afford it.  (did you realize i'm paying a marina fee for every day the boat sits there while they work on it.)  Special THANKS and shout out to BM boatworks for all their fine work.

4th annual Possum Kingdom Lake review

I had a great visit this past weekend at PK lake. 
 "If we cook it, they will come."

Bacon wrapped venison back strap.  Pork tenderloin, cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños, 

grilled veggies and mushrooms, cream corn, with birthday cake, apple and pecan pies.

the weather prediction was rain all weekend.  it only "rained" Saturday night 9p-11:30p.  

My what a dazzling light show God put on for us!  Spectacular...  

Sunday we had home church at the Casa then celebrated the sunshine on the lake.
