Riding around in the 'neighborhood.'

I'm still finding new bike trails to ride.  Finding new neighborhoods with special attractions.  (like Broadway street up in Dunedin where they hang Chandeliers in their yards.)

El dia de los Muertos

Yesterday they celebrated the day of the dead in Dunedin.

The Day of the Dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2, though other days, such as October 31 or November 6, may be included depending on the locality. It largely originated in Mexico, where it is mostly observed.

These two beauties were selling tequila shots.  I suffered through a burning, fire slime, shot for this photo.  Then they gave me a 'free' tee shirt.  #Smileyface

"Day of the Dead combines the ancient Aztec custom of celebrating ancestors with All Souls' Day, a holiday that Spanish invaders brought to Mexico starting in the early 1500s. The holiday, which is celebrated mostly in Mexico on November 1 and 2, is like a family reunion—except dead ancestors are the guests of honor."

Then I rode over to the Island.

My office at 'work.'
