They have all gone home.

We had a great visit and lots of laughs.  I'll miss them, but I'm sure excited to get some sleep, rest, and straighten up the boat.  Things are slightly in disarray.

Old photos from college
remember when?

Today we had two loads of travelers taken to the airport.  Ken and Patty had an earlier flight so i went with them and drove the van back to get David, Scooter and JD.  After they left i got to gather up all our leftovers, and all my personal stuff and return it to the boat.  Fortunately i was able to use one of the golf carts to haul everything and made it in one trip.  I was out of the house by noon and pulling the mooring lines on Prodigal by 1:45p.  Finally, I was back in Marsh Harbor and anchored soon after 5pm.  T.I.R.E.D.  It's gonna take me days and days to find a new normal aboard.  I still have lots of straightening up to do.  Stuff to put away.  But first, I'll start with a rainy day nap!

Now i'm trying to eat all the leftovers before they go bad.  Tonight Lobster ala Pintos & Cornbread.

Ahhh the Pirates Life for me!
I hope your lobster is fresh caught and you have butter for your cornbread.

Sailing Sailing Over the ....

We did it, we sailed and survived!

It was a windy blustery day with gusts over 25mph and we survived a 'Three Hour Tour!'  It's been quite awhile since Prodigal had her sails raised, so having guests aboard added to the delight and excitement.  We reefed the main sail and the jib to allow for a nice relaxed sail and everyone had a grand time.  We saw 7 knots of speed and turned off the engine to revel in the quiet and exhilaration of the wind and water.  (at one point a wave broke over the deck and i got a face full of the water.  not much revel, but a bucket of exhilarate.)

After sailing we relaxed at the beach house and cooked fresh Grouper fillets and Lobster tails for supper.  Incredible!  KeKe is a TREMENDOUS COOK.  i think her fantasy was to come to the Bahamas so she could cook?  Love Her!

Finally after being stuffed we gathered in the living room for word games.

A great time was had by all.  Gotta run now.  I can smell the breakfast casserole and need to check it.

I hope YOU are enjoying some of KeKe's cooking wherever you are!
