During the NADA convention we had dinner at Emerils Restaurant.
Yes, that guy from the cooking shows. This is his original about 20 years old, down in New Orleans. So, i'm out with clients - entertaining. The Sommelier offers me the wine list... duhhhhh, it's a 'War & Peace' size novel. i just ask him to get us a red and a white and dont choose any bottles over $100.

I told my clients that story at dinner. About meeting 'that guy' back in 2003, and his winery, and now Emeril chose this wine, and what are the odds? (they gave the appropriate 'oohs & ahhs.' but i bet they were thinking - yeah right. what do you take me for a fool?)
