Marco Island and a very rolly anchorage! yippee

We arrived near sunset at Marco Island to anchor out.  I'm beat up and the no seaums are biting in the cockpit.  We think this might be a better spot to rest than the Shark River stop?  So we are kicking around the idea of staying over tomorrow to go on shore and walk the land for awhile.  We could hang out here and then head off to Shark River Sunday and then on to Marathon Monday.  I'll write tomorrow with news on our decision.

Today the WIND - Mariah, finally came out to play.  We raised all three sails and hit 7.4 knts before she finally backed off and settled down to a lighter breeze on our nose forcing us to roll in the jib and motor.

Tired and going to brush my teeth now.  Pirates need smiles too.       xo Skip
