The PRETTIEST 4 yr old i've ever seen in a bar.
Rick handled the boat while i did my laundry in transit.
Oh and I really have to tell you about the cute family of four from Nova Scotia. 2 boys ages 6 1/2 and 9. Asking, "do they have rattlesnakes where you come from?" That and every other question i've never considered. (Tarantulas? Black Widows? Brown Recluse?) The lights in town all went out and we were the only people in the restaurant. gotta run now. I'm sorry that I cant recall their names, but the youngest was quite the character. Let's call him James. He asked about my boat. I told him i lived on a sailboat and the conversations turned to Yachts. (I quoted Craig Yakel, "a yacht is a ship you can't afford.") The kid said, "I think a yacht is a a nice boat with a mansion attached." Later we were talking about how a guy was carrying ice down the dock and he pipes up with, "Oh, was he with ISIS?" I miss them already. Too cute and full of life. (the mom and dad were quiet and probably shell shocked) All the best to both mom and dad as you hang on for the ride raising that one!
Post Script after the golf cart: All day bone jarring driving from one end of the island to the other. LOTS of scenic photos of beaches, people and bars. At one point we stopped and asked a man named Bill for some directions. He invited us in to the widow walk atop his house so he could point to our lunch spot. It's a small town and we saw several people all over. Most are tourists down from the states. Talking about when they have to return and how cold it is at home.
I hope it's not too hot on your deck this week. With our fresh breezes down here it's perfect. Maybe 'cool' at night but you can always close a hatch, or use a sheet. -Skip
