Sailing Sailing Over the ....

We did it, we sailed and survived!

It was a windy blustery day with gusts over 25mph and we survived a 'Three Hour Tour!'  It's been quite awhile since Prodigal had her sails raised, so having guests aboard added to the delight and excitement.  We reefed the main sail and the jib to allow for a nice relaxed sail and everyone had a grand time.  We saw 7 knots of speed and turned off the engine to revel in the quiet and exhilaration of the wind and water.  (at one point a wave broke over the deck and i got a face full of the water.  not much revel, but a bucket of exhilarate.)

After sailing we relaxed at the beach house and cooked fresh Grouper fillets and Lobster tails for supper.  Incredible!  KeKe is a TREMENDOUS COOK.  i think her fantasy was to come to the Bahamas so she could cook?  Love Her!

Finally after being stuffed we gathered in the living room for word games.

A great time was had by all.  Gotta run now.  I can smell the breakfast casserole and need to check it.

I hope YOU are enjoying some of KeKe's cooking wherever you are!

Leading picture brings to mind the old man and the sea...not to be confused with the Hemingway classic--just an old man with sea in the background....Gilligan
