ISAIAS is here....

Hurricane Isaias is pronounced
ees-ah-EE-ahs
(per the Atlantic Basin Storm Name Pronunciations guide.)

Look Out, here it comes....
hopefully I'll post more Sunday afternoon.

I'm busy still doing more preparation.  I'm Covid mask wearing, and tired of all these emergencies... (did YOU know: "The average office desktop holds 400 times more bacteria than the average toilet seat." )  "Don't put your hands to your face until you've had a chance to wash them.  Bottom line: This time of year, wash your hands again and again for your best chance of staying healthy."

OK, it's Monday morning and we all survived.  Thanks to everyone who 'checked in with me' to confirm I was safe.  It rained a few times as squalls blew through.  Mostly it was breezy, up to blustery, with a few strong gusts, but it was not a hurricane.  Thank Goodness.  Had I not known about the storm from days and days of television coverage I would have just thought it was a rainy Sunday.  Pretty windy from 3pm till 6pm but otherwise not much rain.  Today I'll start putting my bimini top and full enclosure back up.  Ahhhhhhhh, a boat!  A Pirates life for me...

All clear on this coast - for now.          -Skip
