The Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge is celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, kicking off the 2024 season at Coachman Park in Clearwater, Florida. The nation’s premier canine athletes representing 14 states (and provinces) will gather to compete in a variety of events during the Eastern Regionals with a trip to the National Finals in St. Louis on the line.
First competition, The Obstacle Course.
A judge watches for dog fouls or bars knocked off.
After the Obstacle Course, the athletes did a long jump into the pool.
Next the Frisbee Competition. Part catch, part dance, ALL SHOW.
Finally, back to the pool for the Snatch and Grab competition.
Starting at 20ft and then moving a foot per jump, they got to 26ft. Each dog got two tries.
It was a beautiful day with a nice crowd and incredible athletes.
I loved it.
