George Town - home alone

Cousin Rick has left the building!

Rick caught a ride share Taxi to the airport and flew back to Tyler Texas.  He was a great hand aboard and will be sorely missed by all.  (now i'll have room in the fridge for milk instead of just beer)

I bought a small 10 oz bag of Tostitos scoop chips.  (Walmart price $2.98 USA.)  Bahamas price $7.08 plus tax.  I'm finding things here are also Priceless!  But hey, a Pirates gotta eat!
They have 'FREE' water at the grocery store dock.  (.35c/gal. if you buy it elsewhere)  But today i waited about an hour to reach the faucet with all the crowds.  I guess i better either make water or time my visits in less busy times?
Pretty well stocked shelves.  Except NO Milk.  "we get a boat on Wednesday afternoon."

I heard two guys talking yesterday.  One asked the other, "what is that town across over there?"  The second guy laughed and said, "that's not a town.  those are all boats anchored out."  It's about 290 boats anchored around the harbor.  (the count changes daily as some go north and some go south)

I think i'll just go to bed.  G'night.        - skip
