DIVE BOAT

so i am now alone. just one member of the Dive Club left to carry on... i still have all my dive gear and will continue somehow with the dull routine of dive, eat, dive. i'm still in my little cabana and now i share it with Patrick. he's from chicago and that's all i've been able to squeeze out of him. they got in last night about 5pm. they - a group of 13 from chicago. (i'll have more on 'them' later)

im up early typing while the rest of the island goes through an orientation. im the old pro this week, playing christmas music on my laptop and enjoying a little slide show i made up from the best of my photos. yesterday i was the "solo gringo" on both dives. just a private boat and my own private dive master. imagine my supreme joy of finding the sea horse and not having anyone else in the way to block my photo or kick up silt. no one to 'hurry me.' oh well - the cattle boats are calling. gotta run!
