Regatta on Galveston Bay

Jay and Jen Johnson, some sailing friends that Craig and Angela met in the Caribbean and introduced me to, were involved in a Regatta.  So, Craig and i took his boat out to run around and create havoc and be a general nuisance...   i took a few photos of the action.   *their blog -> http://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/Rum-Runner/

Rod and Linda Duncan depart

4/14 Rod and Linda Duncan, friends of mine from the boating community cut the lines and sailed away.  They are writing to their own blog and starting their retirement adventure.  {S/V It's Perfect is a 44ft Bruce Roberts ketch rigged sailboat. She was built in Fostoria, Ohio by a man named Harold Anderson. He was unable to see his dream of sailing her to Florida come true. Harold died in 1999 of cancer. In Sept. 2004 Rod & Linda bought her still sitting in the shed she was built in. She was unfinished and she was perfect.}      http://svitsperfect.blogspot.com/

They are missed by all of us here on the dock.          -skip
