Happy Mothers Day!
Today we sailed about 49 miles and anchored about 2:30pm just a about a mile off Spanish Wells. Tomorrow we will get closer to shore and find a better spot to visit the little village. But for now we are planning a big Mothers Day Celebration aboard... Rick and i have discussed our menu and are currently starting to cut up vegetables to cook along with a hunk of Mahi Mahi.
At low tide, when the water was running back through the cut, we motored out, going from 6 knots of speed down to 3.5 knots. (it was pushing pretty hard against us)
Now we are anchored behind a little island just off the shoreline of Spanish Wells. Tomorrow we will move closer and start our exploration of the town. For now though, it's all about the Mothers!
