The 'NEW' new plan - Wednesday departure! for sure.

A 'DO OVER'.  Columbus did it too.
(they just never wrote about it.)

As a wind can change it's fickle direction,
so too can a sailor change his plans!

*Instead:  instead of departing yesterday through the ICW (mud ditch) as 'planned,'  Ken (my first mate) and I decided to go outside into the big bold Atlantic.  (ken had never been out there before)  We got out offshore and raised sails, tested the auto pilot and had a jolly romp.  BUT we had the wind directly on our nose and didnt make any headway toward our target.  So, instead we came back into the Stuart Marina area and anchored.  (test the anchor too)  Then I took Ken to shore in the dinghy and passed out.  I had a very cold Frenchman's shower in the cockpit, a cold sandwich, then crawled into my nice warm bed and fell immediately to sleep at 8pm.  (Cruisers Midnight)

**New Plan:  i'll go to the airport in West Palm tomorrow and get 'Cousin Rick', bring him back here - to the boat - at the original location - and WE will start south on Wednesday.  the weather looks good now for a gulf stream crossing on Thursday/Friday.  So that is our current, newest new plan.

All systems go.  I'm here on the boat getting more ready.
