Destin and making plans to depart Tuesday

IT RAINED ALL DAY!
Today was more like a Hurricane band of storms with rain showers all day long.

I spent most of the day in the cockpit rolling up and down the enclosure.

I 'tried' to get a shot of a dolphin swimming by.  But all i got was a few fins...   My feet showing some Keens marks.  (surely you know what Keens are.  if not, look it up.)
STRANGE GOINGS ON - boat drags across harbor.  I wrote some time ago about 'the dock rats' who live on derelict boats.  This guys old boat does not have an anchor light.  (I dont think he even has an anchor.)  i was up checking things about 11:30pm and saw this guy on his deck pulling his anchor line.  today i awoke to find him drifting through the harbor toward some very high dollar fishing boats.  Last week he was anchored East of me up past Boshamps.  Now he's tied off to the pier that says "Do not Moor."  i dont know how this saga will end.  But, he will have to move.

What - The - Heck?

I was having coffee and saw this "piece of string" on my windshield.  Then i studied it closer and it's some sort of eel looking thing.  it was 4 feet up on my windshield.  about 8-9 feet above the water.  i can only guess that a bird dropped it?  i threw it back into the watery deep....
This is really from last night but tonight is so rainy and grey i figured you would enjoy this more.

I hope you are safe from falling Eel things!       -Capn Skip
