Hurricane Irma is headed this way. I'm working on preparations.
This looks like it might get a little hairy.. Today I rented a storage unit. Tomorrow I'll take everything off the deck and go put it in there. Then I'll pull down the Jib and the Main, Mizzen. Last, I'll take down the full enclosure so the wind wont do it for me!
Aunt Nona wrote asking, "So, Darlin', what are you planning to do before Irma arrives somewhere????" i replied with my above plans, to which she then wrote back and asked, "OK, you're making the Prodigal as secure as you can --- what are your plans for precious YOU??"

I'll try to keep current, but it's gonna get a little busy up in here for a few days. If you dont hear from me, dont worry. I'm BUSY doing my storm prep. When the wind and rain get started I'll lock the boat up and FLEE. i'm not a meteorologist, but it looks like I'll want to leave Friday sometime. Till then I'll be watching the weather. Thank goodness I got my leg back!
