I am sitting in the salon (of s/v Hakuna Matata) on Craig's boat. we are doing last minute engine checks, filling the tanks with diesel and then pulling anchor to sail across the Gulf of Mexico in a few minutes. This should / could take 6-7 days. Our plan and serious goal is to sail around the oil spill. enough said. we will sail due west and then north to Kemah, Texas, where Craig and Angela will set up house and begin 'land work' to save money to build up a cruising kitty so they can go out again.
