MONDAY IS CLOSING DATE

The house is empty and ready for the Sale.  The Realtor called today and has moved up the closing to Monday 1pm.  YIPPEE!

I'm so ready to abandon this project and head back to the boat for Xmas.  I've been gone way too long and am curious about how everything is in my absence.  I dont like to leave Prodigal alone so long.

Lynn, the question sister has been here helping and is ready to head home to Amarillo for her family time.  IT'S TIME.
As we empty the house, some stuff has ended up in the park across the street.  Lynn has called the city four times to come pick it up.  (dont worry, they assured her they would pick it up LAST monday)  I'm sure our neighbors are mortified.  Oh well, what's a Pirate to do?  Poor white trash...
Every day people stop and pick through it and Lynn goes stomping out there and picks it up again.  :-)

Lots and lots of boxes of old junk, trash, Goodwill drop offs and everything in between.  Ground Hog day over and over again....   again, so glad its over.

One part of the adventure I enjoyed was taking Dad on drives each day.  He loves to go out and drive around local country roads.  Most days we got to spend an hour together driving slowly to nowhere.

Today we made trips to:  Goodwill, the Shredder, my storage unit, dads appt closet and a little drive.  I'm wiped out.  I cant wait to get home to my boat!

Lynn leaves in the morning and I have just a few more things to pack up, trash and move across the street to the city holding area.   Monday at 2p I depart.  keep on keeping on!  Tomorrow dad comes over to inspect.  Lord, grant me Peace.
