Bahia Honda Key @ anchor 12.11PM

we sailed today.
15 knots of wind with 8 foot swells, (waves) we averaged about 7 knots (speed) and it was a great sail. after about an hour a Pod of Dolphin swam up to our bow. they hung around for about five minutes. taking turns swimming in our slip stream. i think there were about ten of them. i didnt capture a shot of them jumping, but they did. just imagine a group of kindergarten kids playing. these guys seemed happy and silly. perfect sunny weather. we have the ports open now and it's cool with a breeze off the water. probably about 75 degrees. very pleasant all day. (might have 'tried' to count the dolphin, but i was holding on for dear life with one hand and shooting with the other while Craig pointed in all directions. they were everywhere!)

more sailing to follow. Craig caught one small fish and had a second (very large) one hooked that never made it to the boat. (pork chops for us.) lots of fun!

Happy Holiday. -skip
