Super Bowl BLAH day

Sunday was a very long day.
I got up before sunrise on Super Bowl Sunday.  My agenda was actually pretty open for the day.  I had a 10am boater meeting to discuss planned routs to George Town.  Then my next scheduled event was to attend the first quarter of the game, and the cruiser potluck dinner at the marina.  I figured a good dinner and about 20 minutes of football would be about the proper dose.  Unfortunately my plan got kidnapped.  The three pirate looking dudes who arrived at the marina Saturday were coming to the party too.  (Pay attention now as the plot thickens.)  The three pirates have their own dinghy but borrowed an outboard motor from their neighbor boat out at anchor.  (they are anchored way up Sister Creek and not in the mooring field)  Their plan was to make two trips to bring crew to shore for the party.  But the motor conked out after the first two Pirates were dropped ashore.  The Captain Gabriel and first mate Dalton made it while the stalled engine dinghy was slowly rowed back to the boat.  (it took me about 20 minutes to motor to it)  The dinghy never returned to shore with more crew, or to pick up their two shore-bound pirates.  It turned out it was Dalton's 21st birthday and both he and Gabriel wanted to celebrate this momentous occasion.  So they MADE ME go with them to restaurant bar to watch the game, celebrate, and give them a ride back to their boat.  I got them home safe and finally made it back to Prodigal at 10:53pm, long after the first quarter was over!

Gabriel was doing some silly thing earlier in the day, when the outboard was running, fell out of his dinghy and ran over himself.  He got some 'butt cuts.'  *photo below.

PROP CUTS

I'm not clear whether drinking in a bar with the birthday boy and then getting them back to their boat safe gets me any karma points, but I'm glad somebody did it.
