Still sitting still - Marathon again

I was going to write about how cold it's been the last few days.  How we have been wearing long pants and some people even broke out 'SOCKS' to wear with their sandals.  They even - after multiple requests - turned off the "Big Ass" fan in the marina lounge.  (it was blowing up my skirt and freezing me)  It's rained a little and lots of cold north winds...  I think the high today is only 77.  Oh the horror.  But i guess it's cold everywhere?  So i'll not mention that.  Instead i'll let you know that yesterday i changed the oil in the Perkins and the generator.  (work)  Now i feel like i need a day of rest?  This morning we met for day 2 of the Bahamas first timers meeting.  It was 9:30am till 12:30pm on a park bench at the pavillion.  LOTS of info.  (enough to melt my brain)  But now i've gotten a college level intro to the Bahamas.

Yesterday i attended a class on CUBA and the 3 biggest myths.  (very cool discussion about 2hrs)  This was followed by a happy hour discussion served up one pint at a time.  At this rate i'll be an armchair sailor in no time!

I cant visit more now as i need to run to Publix and buy some food.  Lynne and i are invited to Moray and Debbie's boat, s/v Soul Purpose, for sundowners at 4:30p and i simply cant arrive empty handed. i was trained better than that!   (right angela?)

Last thought - West Marine called, my new Nav Lights are in.  *expect some photos of those babies burning soon!

I hope your sunsets and sunrises are even prettier.  I hope your socks match your keens.
WARMEST from s/v Prodigal.    xoxxo Skip
