Wow what a day! Small World after all

Like the song says, "Its a small world after all"....    (can you hear the music in the background?)  I like the version from South Park.  So imagine that's what's playing.

I was off the boat for breakfast about ten this morning.  I had my backpack and my big duffel bag, cause i'm out to do laundry.  But i stopped first at Cafe Con Leche for some food.  I'm sitting there minding my own business when a some 'customer lady' walks up and starts to take my plate.  I look up at her and say, "Hey what's up?"  She looks down and about dies.  She thinks I'm her husband. She is so busy shopping and being a tourist that she is paying zero attention to her surroundings.  Now, i say that not to tell you i was upset.  I had totally finished my meal and she was after all 'trying to pick up after her husband' who just happens to be at a different table.  She turns three shades of red and hustles away to join her mate.  THEN the other lady standing by the cash register turns to me and says, "are you on a sailboat?"  Why yes, i am.  (i was playing along at this point thinking the weirdness was over.)  She says, "did you come here from Destin?"  (now i'm starting to spin in my little mind and wonder why i didnt have cereal on the boat where i belonged)  Why yes, i did.  She says, "i recognize you, i'm the boat taxi lady."  to which i reply - Crystal?  Holy Crap!  When i first arrived in Destin before i got my dingy down and the engine repaired i took the boat taxi a couple of times.  That was mid August.  Now everybody join on the chorus....  It's a small world after all.
Here is a photo of Crystal on her Boat Taxi.  circa 8.20.16 Destin, Fl.

Crystal and her husband had driven two hours to celebrate his birthday and just per chance stopped for coffee where i was having my eggs and bacon.  One more time on the chorus with feeling!

After all that craziness at breakfast i swung by the bike shop.  Where i had left my bike for new spokes.  It turned out that the spokes arrive TODAY from Boston and he was working on it right then. Was this my day or what?  So i got my bike back with new spokes and my laundry done.

I'm back on the boat now and ate a quiet dinner.  No strange lady came to gather my dishes.  I still have a few clean stuff to put away and dishes to wash, so i'll close now.  close with these words:  dont let a blue heron sit on your bow or you'll have to clean up the next day.
But they are pretty cool when they are sitting on something else. (or somebody else's boat)
Tomorrow i have to swab the decks again.
