I got to spend time with Dad on Fathers Week

Shown here are two friends from Marathon.  Sebastian and his lovely wife Pam.  The phone photo is from August 2016 when Sebastian had some blood vessels burst in his brain causing swelling, pressure and a stroke.  This all resulted in a surgery to relieve the pressure and fix the leaks...  We sat together at a Super Friday Happy Hour discussing brain surgery and the mystery of how the brain heals itself.  how it takes the patience of the patient to wait for it to happen.  Sebastian is doing well.  Pam is patient.

Dad likes to take little drives in the countryside.  We went out a few times during my visit.  Here he is hamming it up in Higginson and then later looking on a map trying to find where we went.

 Ellis Sloan likes big drives.
