I awoke today to heavy rain - again. my room sits back off the street in the corner, top floor. so i have three other buildings all tin roof sounding like a chorus of metal drums. this drips down onto the patio. (cow peeing on a flat rock - this is elephant onto a parkinglot from a hotair baloon) After breakfast things cleared with specs of blue, burning off to sunny and warm by my boat ride. it was refreshing and cool in the breeze. i dozed and lounged the hour and fifteen to BC. walked 5 blocks to my hotel and am now checked in.
nap time! will dinner and rest tonight for meeting Jimmy tomorrow and the adventure begins.
