And then it RAINED...

In Ajijic there are two distinct seasons.  The Dry Season and the Wet Season.  Can YOU guess the difference?  Yes, it's the cooling glorious rain.

Yesterday it finally clouded up and last night it rained.  We are in the high desert, so this is a very special thing.  It knocks down the dust, cools off everything, and turns the landscape green and flowered.

Internet Info:  "The Chapala Lake basin has a year-round average temperature of about 19 °C (66 °F). Due to Ajijic's tropical latitude and relatively high elevation*, it is seldom unpleasantly hot or humid. The rainy season begins in June and lasts until October."
*[relatively high elevation = Ajijic 5,046ft and Denver 5,280ft]
