I drove cross country from Florida to Arkansas over the Labor Day Weekend to meet OLD college friends, play some very bad golf and tell lots of lies. Here is a crew of three unusual missionaries. He told me he has been doing this ride for the last ten years. Riding North and South, Florida to DC and then West to California making a massive Cross on the USA. He stops and speaks along the way. I was invited to attend that nights meeting, but it was in another town and I missed it. #Characters!

I'm behind on my writing
I'm way behind on my Posts. Now I'm leaving and driving, so give me a few days for more input...
I was riding my bicycle down the beach recently and saw three women getting out of a car onto the beach. It was three sisters from Turkey. They were all three dressed in flowing garments from head to toe. The third sister, in an all black outfit declined to be photographed, and I still wonder how HOT her outfit was. These full length flowing dresses are a little unusual down here. Lovely, but not the norm.

The Story of Mike and Nora's Picture.
Mike and Nora held an Open House at their new apartment. (They used to live at the Oaks)
The Oaks, the old folks home where I stayed in a Villa across from it.
After Mike and Nora moved across town into their new place, they casually mentioned that mostly they missed 'the views' from the Oaks. (The Oaks sits on the bank of the Gulf of Mexico with incredible views of the sunsets on the bay.) So, I sent hundreds of photos to Mike and Nora so they would not miss the view... Here are a few samples:

It's a very HOT july down here.
I've been forcing myself to get up, get out, and go for a ride. Even in these very hot July Beach days I try to get out and exercise.
Then at night summer storms roll in.
Storms with lightening.
