Zihua Wed 7.12.6

mi casa my lunch of chicken fajitas. Yesterday was a tough day. The actual day was uneventful, I “worked on the computer” (moved photos and did a back up) which took a couple of hours. Dropped off laundry and visited the internet café. This took till lunch. Everything went on hold after that, as I became violently ill with a case of “the tourista.” I got Montezuma’s revenge at lunch. The battle ended at 2am. Somewhere around 9:30pm it began to rain. (i mean RAIN ) the wind howling and screaming through the vents. Water coming in through the windows and under doors. Lightening and pounding and howling. It was fun to imagine what a real storm might be like. This was just a quick squal. The wild part was the Ants came in. huge ants “supersized” monsters. So here I am watching TV cranked way up to be heard over the storm, killing ants as fast as I can, swatting them with a rolled up paper. Finally about 10:30pm I decided the storm had let up enough to sleep through. I had killed all the ants. Hoped I could sleep through the night without being “ill.” (I had been medicating since 4:30pm with meds I got in Divisadero, Mexico back in December) When I went in to bed I got the shock of finding a Cintapede on the curtain right by my head. It was a couple of hours before I was sleepy again. (i used a catch and release program throwing him out in the storm.)

Sunny and warm today.

Picking up my clean clothes from the laundry and going to Playa La Ropa.

Only one week left in my vacation! feel fine and fit today. eating luch somewhere else.......
