It's still like work

New Alternator - done.

Mr. Pete testing the old alternator
We had some intermittent trouble with the alternator on the crossing over from the Bahamas.  Then it finally stopped supplying power altogether, so it's been on my to-do list.  This week i ripped it out and took it to an alternator shop.  The technical results:  'It dont work'.  Now I've replaced it.

While out riding my bike the other day i was almost trapped by rain...  So, i rode into Pierced and tasted a couple of Ciders.  Peach Habenero, Mango, Coconut.*  (*favorite)

I stopped at a GREAT Mexican restaurant yesterday.  Lunch comes with a soup...  She rattled off four different ones.  i chose chicken tortilla.  it was incredible.  for my entree i chose the
chicken acapulco with plantains, rice and black beans.  All this for $9.  I'll be going back here!

In addition to my boat work, i spent lots of time on the computer - and the phone - to establish 'new' medical contacts up here in Ft. Pierce.  (i had some in Stuart)  I have not seen any medical personnel since last December.  It's time now to do my routine physical maintenance.  Plus i want to check with some specialists to see if i have arthritis in my hands and does it need / can it be treated.  So phone calls to Blue Cross Blue Shield, then find doctors in my network.  Then find doctors who are taking new patients.  Then find a doctor who can see me before November....     it's a slow painful infuriating Project to get this all done.

I hope all your parts are working perfectly!
