Riggers climb the mast.

I had Thomas from Keys Rigging climb the mast Friday to replace my 'broken' VHF antenna.  Great job Thomas!  The antenna hit every strut of the FIXED 56' bridge in Miami.  ("Clang, clang, clang")  Apparently i loosened the wiring and cracked the housing.  (going under the bridge I watched and cringed as we "rubbed" the bridge.)  When we checked it, it was worn out and needed to be replaced.  (nothing lasts forever in Salt Water)  In addition to replacing the antenna, we replaced a worn out light for the deck, and 2 flag halyards.

This lamp (left) needed to be replaced!  (foredeck light)
'the better to see you my dear!'

The flag halyards and blocks were worn out, so replace it now.

I bought a 2.5 Gallon Solar Cockpit Shower.  for 'Frenchmen naked cockpit showers!
If it's even half as luxurious as this lady - on the cover - makes it look, then i love it.  It's sitting on the deck now heating up....    Yippee!

All good here.  Still on for the 2/7th arrival of Cousin Rick and imminent departure to follow.
Gotta run now and SHOWER!
