Some transit shots: the trip down

I'm at a marina dock in Marathon, FL.
My plan for this season is to just stay in Marathon and then go back up to Ft. Pierce again for hurricane season.  (I'm not going to the Bahamas this year) So here I am in a familiar place with a long boat list of chores to do.  I stayed here in 2016-2017 season and then spent a month here last January 2019, and have already run into old friends.  It's a great sunny warm destination where there are lots of great places to ride your bicycle, find great seafood and enjoy some fantastic weather.

Prodigal side tied at Skipjack Marina.
(When a mooring ball becomes available at the city marina I'll move
over there and save about a thousand dollars per month in rent.)

Marathon City Marina Mooring Ball: Waiting List.
It's been a week since i checked in as the number 9 boat on the list.
Today I went over and checked and the list has grown to 13 boats.  I'm STILL number 9.
