A Visit to Mexico

I'm visiting in Ajijic, Mexico till mid September.

I spent 3 months here back in the summer of 2023.  Back then on my first visit, I was homeless because they were tearing down where I lived in Florida to build Condos.  ("progress")  I recall quite vividly how I became overwhelmed with an extreme feeling of panic when I landed and first got in a cab toward my hotel.  It was if I had just realized, "Oh my goodness what have I done?"  I don't speak Spanish, I don't know anyone here, and now I've committed to stay for 3 months?  What will I DO?  How will I fill my days?  It was a lot of anxiety...  Fast Forward to 2025 and this trip.  I decided to put all my 'stuff' into storage back in Florida and take another Mexican vacation.
Stuff in Storage.

This time when I landed and all my stress from packing and moving was finally lifted, I felt a sense of utter calm wash over me as I got into a taxi.  It was like I'm coming home.  No anxious worries about 'what have I done?'  This trip I'm staying four months, but have zero worry about how I'll spend my days.  My guess is, when my four months are finally used up, I'll be wishing I was staying longer.  Time will tell.  Here are a couple of shots from my first day back.

I returned to the little hotel from 2023.  Casita Montana because I'm friends with the owner Anne Dyer.  (Anne has a story)
Anne is from Tulsa OK and is 88yoa.  She still manages the hotel operations EVERY day.  (note: my luggage behind Anne and my suite at the very far end.)

It's day 3 and I'm ready to go run see stuff.  More later!
